How positive psychology offers us a way to being happy

Today, anyone can learn to be happy! Science has confirmed it. Recent research has shown that the body, the mind and the brain are all engaged in an ongoing dance with one another. The phenomenon is known as neuroplasticity (also called brain plasticity). In essence, these discoveries have shown that the thoughts on which we focus shape our body, our mind and the way we experience life. Thus, to a great extent, we are the result of our thoughts, our emotions and our actions.

With scientific rigor to support us, we will study strengths, positive emotions and positive focus. We will practice compassion, gratitude, joy, hope, meditation, resilience, commitment and presence, among other things. We will cultivate motivation, emotional intelligence, confidence, self-esteem and healthy lifestyles.

This workshop is thus a serious invitation to learn to be happier in our daily lives. Drawing on positive psychology, neuroscience, mindfulness and self-coaching, you will learn how to regain personal power over your thoughts in order to live a rich, rewarding life characterized by health, feelings of well-being and healthy relationships. By the end of the workshop, you will acquire some practical tools and come away with the feeling of having begun a transformation leading to your happiness.
